Stephen R. Custer , CPA, JD. Steve concentrates his law practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, taxation and business law. Prior to joining Travis & Herbert, Steve was a member of the law firm of Thieman & Custer, PLLC and worked for the national accounting firm of Ernst & Young with its Louisville and New York Tax offices. Steve is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations, the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Louisville. Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and his Juris Doctorate from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
